Tim Green

Managing Partner

Tim Green has been integrally involved in the development and growth of the regional law firm, Barclay Damon, since February 1999. Tim has overseen and managed some of Barclay’s largest client relationships and major engagements including Fortune 500 companies, with a focus on power plant acquisitions and transactions. Tim has also helped integrate general firm services into the operations of major manufacturers, high-tech companies, banks, and international conglomerates. Tim’s business acumen has helped foster mutually-beneficial relationships in identifying the client’s needs and assessing the types of services they may need in the future.

On May 1, 2014, Tim partnered with Scott Brenneck, former Onondaga County Assistant District Attorney under long time DA, William Fitzpatrick, to form TEAM GREEN LAWYERS – Green & Brenneck, Attorneys at Law. The Firm brings together Tim’s expertise in providing top shelf legal services with a team of former Assistant District Attorneys who now specialize in criminal law defense. In addition to Tim’s responsibilities with Team Green Lawyers and Barclay Damon, he is a New York Times Best Selling Author of suspense novels and children’s books. Tim travels the United States visiting schools, talking with children about the importance of education, reading, and character. Tim uses all the speaking fees he earns to buy books for kids, schools, and libraries who can’t otherwise afford them.

Tim graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Co-Valedictorian from Syracuse University with a degree in English in 1986 and Syracuse University College of Law cum laude in 1994. Because of his accomplishments both Sports Illustrated and the Los Angeles Times have called Tim Green “the Renaissance Man of Sports.” After an eight year career as a first-round draft pick with the Atlanta Falcons, Tim spent 11 years as an NFL analyst for FOX Sports, columnist for USA Today, hosted FOX’s nationally syndicated news magazine A Current Affair, legal commentator for ABC’s Good Morning America, Court TV’s Pros and Cons, host FOX Sports network’s NFL Total Access, Comedy Central’s Battlebots and most recently, ABC’s Find My Family.
